Effective August 16, 2026

Open Channel Press operates this website. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit it. It is short because the site collects very little.

What this site does not do

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party measurement scripts. It does not build a profile of you, does not sell or share personal information, and has no advertising relationships of any kind.

Because nothing is collected for advertising or sale, there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, this page will change first.

What your browser sends anyway

Like every website, this one is served by a web host that keeps standard server logs. Those logs may record the address of the page requested, the time of the request, your browser type, and an IP address. Our host, Hostinger, generates these logs automatically for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Typefaces on this site are served from our own server rather than a third-party font service, so visiting these pages does not send your IP address to Google or anyone else.

When you write to us

The site offers no forms. Contact happens by email. If you write to info@openchannelpress.com or media@openchannelpress.com, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to answer you and to maintain a record of the exchange. We do not add you to any list without your asking, because we do not operate one.

Links to other sites

Pages here link to booksellers, to Kirkus Reviews, and to the author site at resonance-book.com. Once you follow a link, that site's own policies apply and ours no longer do. Booksellers in particular use cookies and tracking that we neither control nor receive data from.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others, grant some or all of these rights, as does the General Data Protection Regulation in the European Union and United Kingdom.

In practice we hold nothing about you unless you have written to us, in which case we hold that correspondence. To ask what we have, or to ask us to delete it, write to info@openchannelpress.com. We will respond within the time your jurisdiction requires. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than quietly substituted.
